Destination Planning

Territorial and tourist planning

The robust growth of the tourism sector worldwide requires greater responsibility for tourism activities that minimize pressure on territorial systems and maximize benefits for local communities. Sustainable planning and management of tourism are now more than ever critical factors to reach positive effects on tourist destinations and local communities.

The Covid-19 pandemic is affecting tourism dramatically, it is time to rethink our tourism model towards greater competitiveness, more respect for natural and cultural resources, and guarantee more well-being for the local population.

Our strength lies in the advice and holistic planning of tourist destinations supporting institutions, governments, municipalities and / or Destination Management Organizations - DMOs. We are pioneers in the use of geodesign applied to the tourism sector, propicieting innovative participatory planning that allows drawing up policies and actions with stakeholders consensus.

The exhaustive analysis using new technologies of the territory and the natural and cultural heritage, so important for the sustainability of a tourist destination, are essential factors in our work. We also analyze the potential impacts derived from the possible decisions made in the development plans, and the identification of risks derived from climate change, through the generation of future scenarios.
